Flight 8: EGLC - LOWI
Another great flight and approach. Traveling at FL410 I had 142 knot trailing winds which gave me a ground speed at one time of 558 knots! Very scenic approach through the mountains. Highly recommended.
Flight 7: EGPM - EGLC
I've been looking forward to this flight. First time to London City. This is a really cool airport to fly into (and out of!) Highly recommended.

Flight 4: BIRK - EKVG
Reykyavik, Iceland to Vagar, Faroe Islands....... This was a fun one! I took off from good weather in Iceland only to check the arrival weather at Vagar. Winds were 30 knots gusting to 41 knots with a crosswind component. GREAT! A very short runway, horrific approach, and terrible winds! Approaching Vagar visibility was almost zero. However, I broke out of the clouds at around 2,000 ft and visibility was much better, scattered clouds. Finally had the runway in site and was fighting the gusting crosswind. The airspeed indicator was all over the place. I decided to make a go-around at the last minute and give it another try. A gust at the last minute blew the plane way off centerline. Second time around wasn't much better, the airspeed dropped real fast and the plane dropped and I almost came up short of the runway but I managed to make it. Not the best landing, but it worked! Here's a short video of the landing.

Flight 3: BGTL - BIRK
Another uneventful flight from Thule to Reykyavik, Iceland. Again, good weather, good landing, nothing exciting to report.
Flight 2: BGBW - BGTL
BGBW to Thule Air Base in Greenland. No particular reason for this flight other than I wanted to fly to Thule! Weather was good.
Flight 1: KLAN - BGBW
Lansing, Michigan, USA to BGBW in Greenland. A tricky approach if the weather is poor. I was lucky to have clear skies for this uneventful flight.
